I'm Frances — caregiver to my adult son who is on the autism spectrum, non-verbal, and needs full-time care. I'm also a minister and creative arts leader. For years, I poured into everyone else while quietly neglecting myself. And one thing I learned is this:

We need moments to breathe. We need connection. We need joy again.

That is why I created Shifting the Spectrum — a faith-based ministry born from my own journey of caregiving, isolation, emotional exhaustion, and the deep need for community and respite that truly understands our reality. This podcast, this community, and these experiences were all created during seasons when life felt heavy, money felt tight, and the thought of "doing more" felt impossible.
